God gave me this promise found in 2 Chronicles 20:17 three times for the past two weeks.
“You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.’”
He also gave me Isaiah 41: 10 & 13 twice last week.
Verse 10
“’Do not fear , for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God . I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand .’
Verse 13
“For I am the LORD your God , who upholds your right hand , Who says to you, ‘ Do not fear , I will help you.’
I am in awe of God’s love and faithfulness. Who am I that He should be mindful of me? He gave me these words at a time I needed it most. It’s been awhile since I last heard from the Lord. Maybe it was because I’ve been too busy to hear Him speak. I’ve been trying to ask HIm to talk to me, but I felt there was something amiss. It was only when I gave God my undivided attention that paved the way for me to hear Him speak again.
It was so reassuring for me to know that all God wants me to do is to rest in Him and praise Him, and He will fight the battle for me. How do you solve fears and problems by just praising? I don’t know, but the Israelites sure did, and God fought the battle for them.
Indeed, the Lord is worthy to be praised. He is our Jehovah-Jireh. He is our comfort, our strength and shield. He is our redeemer. He is the alpha and the omega. God is an ever-present help in times of trouble. He is our stronghold, deliverer and shelter. He is our healer. He is mighty to save. Our God is the only living God. He is wonderful, awesome and beautiful beyond description. His faithfulness reaches to the skies. His love and mercy overflows each day. Blessing and honor, glory and power be unto Him who is the one and only God. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. He is almighty, most holy GOD!!!
