Child,
I want you to know there is nothing you can do to make things better. Once you’ve surrendered your burdens to me, allow me to work in them. I don’t need your help. I just need your praise. That’s all I ask from you…your praise.
I have your worries and concerns under my wings. You do not need to do more than you need to. I am taking care of it even if you do not see how it is going to turn out. Hold on to that hope. Don’t give up just yet. The odds may be against you, but that is not going to define your future.
The future is in my hands. I am the Lord. I determine the lives of my people. Do not be discouraged, do not be dismayed, for I am with you. You need not fight this battle. I know you’re tired. Allow me to fight it for you. I just want your praise.
Is anything too hard for me? Have you forgotten my goodness? If you still remember my marvelous works, turn your pity into praise. That’s all I want from you.
The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him (Nahum 1:7).
