It’s been more than a week since I last posted here. I have my hands full on wifey and mommy duties. Worse, my son, Ryan is suffering from a cold. I just called the pedia’s office this morning to set up an appointment for Thursday. To keep it short and simple, let me just give an excerpt on what I’ve been up to lately.
July 19 (Sat.) – Went to Chinatown to have my haircut. It’s long overdue. It’s been 4 months. Gosh! Bought siopao and siomai for lunch. Yum!
July 20 (Sun.) – wasn’t able to go to church ‘coz Ryan fell asleep. Daniel fetched his cousin and her husband from the airport. Ryan and I waited for them at the hotel near our place which Daniel booked for them. Daniel’s sis also went to the hotel to welcome the guests. Ryan was enjoying the hotel room. Had dinner at Todai. Got a lot of pasalubong. 4 new blouses, several clothes for Ryan ( i’m excited about the sandos) and a few delicacies.
July 21 (Mon) – filed VL. Daniel and I brought our guests to the Camarillo outlet. Daniel’s cousin is such a shopaholic. She’s a winner in my book when it comes to shopping. She can shop all day, and she doesn’t even want to stop for a bite. She said time is precious because she only has two days to shop. We had to leave her for awhile so we can grab something to eat ‘coz we were so famished already haha…by 5 pm, we fetched Ryan from the daycare. Off we went to Costco, Babies R Us and Best Buy for more shopping. By 6:45 pm, Daniel drove Ryan and me home, and dropped the guests at Target which closes at 10 pm. He fetched them at 10 pm and drove them back to their hotel.
July 22 (Tue.) – I’m back at the office. Daniel is out entertaining the guests. Their agenda for today will include Chinatown, Beverly Center to check on Burberry and Gucci bags and Nordstrom Rack. Oh, I also got the package i ordered from Babycenter. Finally, the See Kai Run shoes I ordered for Ryan is here! It’s a size 5 , so he will not be using it untill he turns 18 mos. or earlier. I spent days deciding whether I should purchase it.. It’s on sale. From $36, i got it for $24.99. I’m so excited to try See Kai Run. He loves his Robeez and Pediped, and I just want to complete his collection with a See Kai Run. I think See Kai Run would be the more appropriate shoes for him when he turns 18 mos. because he’s really walking steadily now. By 18 mos., he could be off running. Here I am again with my shoe obsession hehe…
